of recent Wildlife Center Rescue patients and the work of the
rehabilitation process. She will also introduce the Owl Box Program
for individual residents, and the Green Winery Project, using
non-toxic rodent control (Barn Owls).
Star Dewar is the owner of Star Shots Photography Studio in Kenwood. She has also served as Administrator and Education Director of the Kenwood Wildlife Center for the past three years. She has been involved as a volunteer there since 1990, involved in transport and release of sick and injured animals, fund raising, and educational programs to schools and organizations, spreading the word about local wildlife's current status and degradation of habitat. Her greatest passion is underwater photography of marine animals and promoting awareness of all creatures, and the urgent need to protect them. She lives in Kenwood with her husband Bill, three cats, and a rescue dog named Rainbow.
