JAN 24 - "The Intelligent Brain"
By Steven Campbell
Steven uses his twenty years of research and university teaching to present easy to understand principles which may be applied immediately to improve the quality of our thoughts and lives, while teaching us how to access the true power of our minds. He will also share what the latest research has discovered about how the brain learns and how much of our behavior is based not on the truth, but rather on the truth as we perceive it. According to Mr. Campbell, "When we can no longer remember names at a cocktail party, or where our keys are, we think our brainpower is declining. Research, however, is discovering that this assumption is mostly wrong."
Steven Campbell acquired his Masters in Information Systems from the University of San Francisco, and worked for 18 years in hospital administration. He then went on to pursue his greatest love...teaching based on brain-based learning. He was a college instructor in northern California colleges for another twenty years, and is presently an adjunct instructor for USF. He was also the Evening Program Dean for five years at Empire College in Santa Rosa. He is the author of two college textbooks, and is presently an editor and writer for a third McGraw-Hill college textbook titled Strategies of Student Success, and is working on his fourth titled Making Your Mind Your Motivator.
